About Transwelt

The company was initially founded by Kamlesh Kumar and Arun Kumar in the year 2002. Since 2009, Transwelt is a privately held firm of Mr. Arun Kumar and Mrs. Sunita A. Kumar (directors), who have a cumulative experience of more than 15 years in German Language translations.

The company is young and encourages new ideas and innovations, which lies at the core of its existence. The company is based in Whitefield, Bangalore, which is an IT centre within the IT hub of Bangalore and hence provides location advantage to some of the top MNCs. Through its corporate structure it inculcates and encourages a culture of flat hierarchy where each member of the team contributes to the growth of the company.Ideas are encouraged and a strict open door policy is followed.

The company is currently expanding and has an office in Canada too. It is making its global presence felt across horizons indicating faster growth. The primary idea at Transwelt is to provide the customers with finest quality translation having the human touch by eliminating the artificiality which generally gets induced during mechanical practices of translation. The goal is not only to provide quality translation but also to ensure complete security and confidentiality through transparent processes.

Transwelt is an emerging technological firm with an aim to provide technological solutions for translation. The main stream difference compared to other competitors is that it makes the translational features simple rather than bundling the user with a lot of complicated to use features.


The Directors

Arun Kumar has completed his schooling from Delhi. After graduating in English language he started learning German from Max Mueller Bhawan(MMB) and completed Pr├╝fungwirtschaftsdeutsch (business German course) from MMB Delhi, which is jointly conducted by Max Mueller Bhawan and Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. Based on his merit, he was offered Oberstufe course (near native capability) from Germany from Goethe Institut in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This course was conducted with excellent result.

Later, Arun Kumar started working as a freelance translator in India. He was offered a position of senior process associate in Global E-Business, in Hewlett Packard Bangalore, where he helped in the transition of process from Spanish to German. He also worked with Robert Bosch India as senior officer, which he subsequently left to concentrate on Transwelt.

Sunita A Kumar has done her schooling and graduation in commerce from Delhi. She learnt German from Max Mueller Bhawan, New Delhi and has several years of experience in the field of translation and as a freelancer. She also has the experience of working with companies like Wipro technologies as translator.

Apart from translations, she is dedicated in handling the finances and other infrastructural operations of this company.
